Booking Terms, Conditions and Reservations
A contract exists between the client and the Chalet Company once the Client has paid a 20% deposit to above address, within 7 working days, of making the initial booking and confirm that booking by email or letter. Failing this the reservation will be cancelled and deemed to be null and void. Cheques should be payable to Les Allodis Limited., and sent to the above address. The balance of the payment must be made 8 weeks prior to departure, and is the responsibility of the Leading Client to pay it in time. The person/s making the booking guarantees payment to Les Allodis Limited, for the total cost of the holiday booked, and does so, on behalf of and with the consent of the rest of the party.
Cancellation Charges
A Recorded letter of cancellation from the party leader is necessary, to the above address. If cancellation of the holiday takes place more than eight weeks before the holiday commences the deposit will not be forfeited, but returned. Within six to eight weeks of the commencement of the holiday, 50% of the whole cost of the chalet will be charged. Within three to six weeks, 75% of the whole cost of the chalet will be charged and thereafter, (within three weeks of the holiday commencing, the whole chalet cost will be forfeited.)
Arrivals and Departures
Guests are encouraged to arrive after 4pm on the first day of their holiday and to leave before 10am on their final day. If the party arrives in the resort earlier than 4pm, perhaps having come on the night train, we will harbour the luggage for the day. Likewise, if the party leaves the resort at the end of the day, the luggage will be stored while skiing takes place, on the final day.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for their own travel and documents, medical insurance, travel insurance, including cancellation protection, should cancellation of the holiday occur, which should be arranged at the same time as booking the holiday, as a protection against the cost of loss of Chalet rental. Clients undertake to behave in such a way as not to disrupt the enjoyment of others including local residents or in any way harm the reputation of the owners of the Chalet. Les Allodis Limited has the right to terminate their contract with the Client if these conditions are not upheld. Any damages to the Chalet and its contents will be charged to the client and must be paid before their departure, unless otherwise agreed beforehand, in writing, by both parties.
Complaints
If there are any problems, or complaints, these should be first raised with the staff and then addressed to chalet owners, if necessary, as soon as they have become apparent, first verbally and then to the Owners in writing within 14 days. Every endeavour to rectify any problem will be made, as soon as possible. Your complaint will be dealt with in a fair and reasonable manner.
Smoking
Les Allodis Limited has a NO smoking policy inside the entire chalet. Smoking can only take place on the outside balcony.
Animals
Animals are only permitted in the chalet with the prior arrangement and with the full agreement of the Owners, providing the client gives a written undertaking that the animal in question is house trained and is unlikely to cause any damage to the property. Any damage caused will be the responsibility of the client to reimburse the owner prior to leaving the chalet.
Jurisdiction
These Booking Terms, Conditions and Reservations of the Contract to which they apply are governed and construed in accordance with English law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
The price includes:
Prior to arrival at the Chalet ski passes and skis/boot hire can be arranged to ensure an early start the following day, or upon arrival at the Chalet. Chilled champagne and canapés will be on offer 6 nights, and on the 7th night there will be champagne for the guests to use themselves on the staff’s night off, all in front of a glowing log fire.
On the staff’s day off, the staff will recommend and book one of the superb local restaurants, within easy walking distance. A continental breakfast and afternoon tea will be laid out on the dining table.
Not inclusive, additional services can be arranged, such as ski lessons, ski guiding, massage, baby sitting and airport transfers.
